The work is a metaphor of the Universe beginning and the origin of life. The contraction between shapes and textures of these geometric figures provides the strong visual enjoyments and imagination. It is the vigorous life, the soothing atmosphere and progressive forces.

When the sun rises on the Huangpu River the sunlight shining with brilliant colour, it carries the visual image of prosperity and flourishing and also symbolizes the rising and thriving city of Shanghai.

The whole mural is made of patterns of subway trains with the picture of the sea and land conjunction. The magnificent image and luxuriant colour and glittering block of cloud and rays of sunlight combined with picturesque architectural groups forming a romantic and enchanting scenery.
