序和前言

前言
“当代玻璃艺术传播之路”展览检验了Keith Cummings教授在英国和中国玻璃艺术教育课程中所起到的重要作用和影响。通过在Stourbridge 艺术学院和Wolverhampton大学的授课, Keith Cummings教授为一些国际最知名的玻璃艺术家提供了专业指导和支持。该展览展示了他四十年来完成的杰作, 全面详尽地描述了他的玻璃和金属雕塑作品以及绘画作品。

将他的作品与国际范围内玻璃艺术业内人士的作品共同展览具有承上启下的重要含意，其中包括许多先前的毕业生，这些毕业生目前已是玻璃艺术学者、艺术家、设计师和受尊重的制作者。

在过去的四十年中，Keith Cummings教授影响了国际上新一代的玻璃艺术家和设计师。展览尤其检验了Wolverhampton大学玻璃艺术课程为中国上海和北京的高等院校新建立的玻璃工作室所做出的贡献。
